FIAT opened the summer season by start of selling an open version of super popular in Europe mini-hatchback 500. FIAT 500 C cabriolet is quite significantly different from other versions of this car. If the tissue folding roof is everyday-like, it is with very unusual attachment. Imagine that the roof has a huge hole cut out, leaving only lateral guidance for pulling the cloth. Another strong point of the new FIAT 500 C was the persistence of high levels of climatic and acoustic comfort. At least, so say engineers of Italian automaker.
The seeming simplicity of cabriolet FIAT 500 C – is misleading. Designers require a lot of time to automatically create a collapsible roof, make there a window and the third brake light.
FIAT 500 C buyers can choose from three roof colors: ivory, red and black, as well as from the rich selection of options for paint finishes, including three exclusive colors: pearl red (Ragamuffin Red), Gray (Tech House Grey) and blue (Goth -Metal Blue).
Interior FIAT 500 C is created using high quality materials and fabrics, including leather Frau. Among the technical features worth noting the automatic climate control, an innovative system of Interscope HiFi System, navigation system Blue & Me Map system and Start & Stop.
FIAT 500 C maintained hatchback dimensions (length – 3 550 mm, width – 1 650 mm, height – 1 490 mm), as well as a full range of power units, including: 1.3 liter engine turbo diesel MultiJet, power 75 hp works in combination with 5-gear mechanical CPR, 1.2 liter gasoline engine (69 hp) and 1.4 liter engine (100 hp). The latter two can be used with the robot PPC Dualogic. All engines comply with environmental requirements of «Euro-5».
Security of FIAT 500 C is at the highest level. A car crash test has been steadily passed on the system-test EuroNCAP, receiving the highest overall evaluation of «five stars». Among the passive safety equipment standard model has 7 airbags and effective braking system. Among the active safety systems: ABS, brake force distribution system (EBD), motion stabilization system (ESP), a system of assistance in starting up the hill (ASR) system and the HBA, to help with emergency braking.
